THE BRAND
Hasu no Ie was born from the need to promote conscious and sustainable consumption within the context of the pandemic, not only to meet the demand for protective equipment such as masks, but also for eco-friendly products, replacing single-use plastics that employ high levels of chemical products in their composition that are harmful to the environment and to individual health, particularly women, as in the case of disposable pads.
Still, as a Labor dentist, the artisan responsible for the studio, notes that often large companies are involved in the exploitation of slave labor and disrespect for labor rights, so that supporting artisanal work becomes a means of resistance to system.
Our products are carefully designed to ensure the greatest comfort and safety to customers, combining science, art, sustainability and purpose.
THE ARTISAN
Solo mother of a girl, the artisan responsible for the studio is a Labor dentist and a feminist. Therefore, she fights for Human Rights, which includes Public Health and the search for gender equality with more environmental awareness, based on scientific studies and research for a more fairer society because she believes that this is the only possible way of developing a healthier world and guarantee a better future for new generations, beyond their survival. As a descendant of Japanese, she still seeks in the origins of her family, to combine Japanese culture, technique and sensitivity to bring beauty, meaning and also the highest qualities and textile technologies to her products, making them unique and true pieces of art.
Changing the direction of the consumption cycle is an essential part of this dream, and everyone's responsibility in the choices we make in our daily lives. In this sense, she believes that artisanal work is one of the bases for rescuing values, promoting awareness but also nurturing affections. Still, betting on the strength and empowerment of women is one of her main missions.
